How to Activate the Seer Anointing

You can ask the Holy Spirit to impart the Seer Anointing to you. It can be imparted and activated in any follower of Jesus who desires it enough to ask. 

In this post, I’ve put together some tips for activating the Seer anointing in your life.

How to Activate the Seer Anointing

1. Ask Holy Spirit for impartation
2. Ask a Christian with the gift to impart it through the laying on of hands. 
3. Renew your mind with the washing of the water of the Word. 
4. Pray Ephesians 1:18 that the eyes of your heart would be enlightened
5. Walk in purity & make a covenant with your eyes (Job 31:1)

It’s Not Just a Prayer. It’s Walking with Jesus.

Activating the Seer Anointing is more than just a prayer you pray. The Seer gifts begin to activate as you spend time engaged with the presence of God. As you spend time with the Holy Spirit, ask him to open your eyes and increase your understanding. 

Praying the apostolic prayers regularly and coming into 

alignment with the prayers in Paul’s letters is very powerful.

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

Eyes of the Heart Enlightened

We need the eyes of our hearts enlightened so we can see who we, and others, truly are in Christ. We are his purchased possession. He put his glory inside of us by His Spirit. The glory of the New Covenant is greater than the glory that Moses saw. The glory Moses saw was so bright that he had to cover his face with a veil. The glory in us is greater than this and we are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory.

When the eyes of our hearts are enlightened, we begin to step into our identity and who we are in Christ. We have the mind of Christ and are seated with Him in the heavenly realms. When we begin to perceive eternity inside of us and realize that we have access to the Father by the Holy Spirit–that we have access to heaven–then the Seer anointing begins to activate in our lives.

The Seer Anointing & Purity

Walking in holiness, purity, and the fear of the Lord is critical in maintaining our walk with God. He desires obedience, not just sacrifice. He is a real person that we must have a real relationship with.

The pure in the heart get blessed with the gift of seeing God,, and the believers with clean hands and hearts get to ascend the hill of the Lord (Mount Zion).

The Seer’s anointing can transport you into glorious heavenly realities that you can’t even begin to imagine without having the Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation poured onto your heart. Still, our eyes must be single, and our hearts must be pure to see.

Ask God for an Increase of Spiritual Sight

He Loves to Give Good gifts to those who ask!

Ask the Lord to activate the Seer Anointing in your life. Though the desire for more is a great place to start, Jesus desires that we come to Him and pour our hearts to Him like a dear friend. He knows that if He infuses us with His Spirit, we can receive insight and identity and be seated in heavenly places with Him.

He loves it when we pray to Him and ask for His guidance. He instructed us to abide in Him, no longer calling us slaves but inviting us into partnership with Him. This involves a dialog—even when we don’t feel His presence. 

We live by faith, not by what we see, even as Seers. Without faith, it’s impossible to please Him; we must choose to believe that He hears us.

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

Porn & Lust Culture: Increased Need For Purity in the Church

As Christians, we must strive to maintain purity and holiness. One of the most important areas in this regard is our eyes. But, unfortunately, there has been an increase in lust, reversion, and pornography in our culture. 

This is why it is essential for those who wish to walk in the seer anointing to be strict about guarding their eyes and not looking at pornography or anything that would stir lustful desire.

The Bible speaks on this subject in Job 31:1, which says, “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman.” 

This verse reminds us of the importance of setting boundaries for ourselves about what we let our eyes see. We should intentionally avoid anything that could tempt us or cause us to sin against God’s will. 

When we decide to guard our eyes against inappropriate things, we open ourselves up to a different kind of sight that brings spiritual insight and revelation from God. 

When Jesus spoke of spiritual sight, He said, “Blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear” (Matthew 13:16). 

His words remind us of the blessing when we devote ourselves to seeing through spiritual eyes instead of natural ones. 

Your Eye Can Be Filled With Darkness or Light

These spiritual eyes can be filled with light or darkness depending on how aligned our hearts are with God’s will. 

The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,²³ but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is th darkness!

Mathew 6:22-23

Darkness often results when we allow our desires and temptations to dictate how we use our sight instead of relying on God’s guidance and direction. 

Alternatively, suppose we focus on pursuing holiness through self-discipline and guarding our hearts against impure thoughts. In that case, God will fill us with His light so that we can better understand His Word and learn about the future He has planned for us. 

It’s the light of Jesus you need to activate the Seer anointing. You must protect your eyes!

Ultimately, suppose you want to walk in the seer anointing. In that case, you must make sure your spiritual vision is clear by protecting yourself from any form of impurity or temptation, especially regarding your physical eyesight! 

Only then can you truly experience all the blessings that come from having a heart devoted to God’s will and direction instead of living according to worldly desires.

The light of Jesus Illiminates Us if We Are Obedient to Him

We have the light on the inside of us through the Holy Spirit, which illuminates us so we can see spiritually. Before we were born again in Christ, we lived in darkness, and a veil covered our eyes so we could not see the light. The veil is taken away whenever anyone turns to the Lord (2nd Corinthians 3:16). 

Jesus said that our eye was a lamp to the body and that we can be filled with light and have bright and shining lamps like John the Baptist (John 5:35), or we can be filled with darkness–like 

Judas was when he betrayed Jesus. It says that Satan entered him, and he immediately went out into the night. The eye, in the case of Judas, was his heart. It’s all connected.

Your eye has to be good. If it’s bad, you won’t be able to see.

Seer’s Intercede For What They See

You can release the things you see in heaven through the eyes of your heart being enlightened on the earth. Likewise. We pray to the Father that he will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 

When the seer gift reveals things on earth that out of alignment with how things are in heaven, we’ve been given the power to bind. We also have the ability to open and close doors, or portals.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven – Mathew 16:18-19 ESV

And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David. He shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Isaiah 22:22 ESV

In the throne room, before the Father, are four living creatures who were created to do one thing: gaze upon the unsearchable riches in the Father & the Son. They have eyes all over their bodies in the front and behind. 

They only do two things: gaze at God, and when they get overwhelmed, they cry out, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God almighty. Who was and is and is to come:

To which the 24 elders seated around God’s throne join in the symphony of perfect worship as they cast their crowns down and declare how worthy Jesus is. 

The 4 living creatures see something new in God that they hadn’t seen before, and when they cry “Holy, Holy, Holy,” they release what they see, and all of heaven responds. This is what Seers do on the earth.

What is your heart set on?

Are the eyes of your heart enlightened? What is your heart set on? 

If you’re unsure, think back to the conversations and interactions you had with people this week. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. We will also be accountable for every idle Word. Our speech is to be seasoned with salt and give grace to all hearers.

Does your speech this week sound like the above? If there was gossip or something else Holy Spirit is convicting you of, then know that you were speaking out of the overflow of your heart. There is no exception to this. 

Out of the heart flow the issues of life. The only solution to this problem is to pray to God that the eyes of our hearts be enlightened–and that we can enter into that blissful reality of being filled with Love and comprehending Love with all of the other saints.

If your heart is set on earthly things and the things of the world, it will be more difficult to enter into the seer realm and have your senses opened. You have to train your eye to be healthy.

In Conclusion

What does it mean to “give us eyes to see”? I’ve prayed this prayer for over 16 and nearly every day for 3 years–and I still–have yet to understand this. Is this just a prayer we pray while we’re here on earth–and little by little, God answers this prayer? Or is a day coming when suddenly all will see him? What is activating the Seer anointing unto? Is it to encounter angels, demons, and heavenly places–or is it to gaze at the terrifying beauty of God?.
